Day 1: Innovation

How Tech Companies are Improving the Lives of Working Families
Innovation Session & Panel

Join The Mom Project's Head of Research, Dr. Pam Cohen, as she explores the most critical pain points working moms experience and the drivers most important to them staying fully engaged in the workforce. We will be joined by a panel of Founders and CEOs from tech companies that are working to solve some of these pain points through innovative products, features, and platforms.

Innovation From Within: How Can Companies Champion Female Workforce Participation?
Leadership Roundtable & Networking

Join The Mom Project, Uber, and other leading companies from across the Bay Area as we explore the evolving role of HR, D&I, and ERGs as it relates to supporting and retaining women in the workforce. This intimate roundtable session will allow leaders to share their innovative practices and valuable experiences related to designing (and refining!) people strategies at their organization and network with other leaders in the space.

Day 2: Investment

Wednesday, October 23rd

The Boss Breakfast

Female Founder & Investor Breakfast

Side hustlers, dreamers, and doers: unite! Join The Mom Project as we gather women with some serious entrepreneurial goals and connect them with investors and founders over an intimate power breakfast. This small networking session will provide attendees with the insight, inspiration, and confidence they may need to take a leap and start making their business dreams a reality--ultimately creating opportunity for women in the workforce

Day 3: Connection

Thursday, October 24th

Your Career; Fair.

Community Career Event

Join The Mom Project as we flip the script on the traditional career fair. We will gather women from our Bay Area community to hear from the companies that are leading the way for women in the workplace--and let them decide which companies are a fit for their own unique career journeys. This immersive experience will showcase 10 companies as they pitch attendees on why they are the employer of choice for women--and invite the audience to vote on the winner of the showcase in real time. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with potential Bay Area employers, meet with The Mom Project team, and engage in career (and confidence!) boosting activities like resumé reviews and a professional headshot station.

Employer partnership options:

  • Two return to work hires (including tech!)

  • Regional and national media exposure

  • Inclusion in a week of programming featuring your company as a leading employer of choice for women and families

  • Five return to work hires (including tech!)

  • Regional and national media exposure

  • Inclusion in a week of programming featuring your company as a leading employer of choice for women and families

  • Choice of on-site event or diverse talent retention study, custom to your organization

Women bear a disproportionate share of caregiving responsibilities, which means we’ll be losing out on their ideas and perspectives if we don’t work harder to support and retain them at all stages of their careers. We’re excited to partner with The Mom Project and take action to foster a more caregiver-inclusive culture at Uber and across the tech industry.
