Ideal RALLY Results

  1. Networking

Your match will connect you with at least two people in their professional network. Make the most of these contacts to broaden your job search it’s often about what you know and who you know.

  2. Skill Sharing:

Your match isn’t there to teach specific skills. But asking for guidance on pieces of your search is a great idea. Not sure your cover letter is creative enough? Don’t know if your resume showcases your experience best? Ask your match for feedback. They want to help!

  3. Connection:

Searching for a job can feel isolating and overwhelming. Use RALLY to talk through your efforts with another professional parent who gets it.

Final Notes

RALLY’s success is driven by the energy and commitment of moms, dads and allies in The Mom Project community. And just like anything worth it ... the more you give, the more you get. RALLY requires three meetings, but feel free to add mini or alternate check-ins during your match term.

And while you don’t have to become BFFs with your match (although that’s great, too!), being kind, thoughtful and helpful throughout the process is a must.

The goal of RALLY is to empower and be empowered with the tools to make the job search process as smooth as possible. A job should not be the expectation.
