We’re glad you’re ready to bring it for moms. Before you get matched, let’s dive into how the program works so you and your match get the most out of it.

Ideal RALLY Results

  1.  Encouragement:

Life as a working mom is hard. Being torn between two passions can leave you feeling like you’re not thriving anywhere. When moms are ready for a career change, getting perspective on how skills transfer between roles (and worlds) is a priceless confidence booster. That’s where you come in! You’ll serve as a sounding board to hone in on potential and keep focused on the right track.

  2. Skill Sharing:

You don’t have to teach anything specifically. But if you’re a master at something like revamping resumes offer to take look over your match’s. Using your skill set to shine up your partner’s job search efforts is a skill. We’re here to help each other!

  3. Networking:

Sometimes it’s about who more than what you know. Connect your match with at least 2 other professionals in your network (informal phone calls and coffee meet-ups are great) to help cast a wider net in their search.

Final Notes

RALLY’s success is driven by the energy and commitment of moms, dads and allies in The Mom Project community. And just like anything worth it ... the more you give, the more you get. RALLY requires three meetings, but feel free to add mini or alternate check-ins during your match term.

And while you don’t have to become BFFs with your match (although that’s great, too!), being kind, thoughtful and helpful throughout the process is a must.

The goal of RALLY is to empower and be empowered with the tools to make the job search process as smooth as possible. A job should not be the expectation.
